OCD Weekend

Seeing as i woke up on Saturday with a sore head i decided that fresh air was needed. It was also a glorious day & time for the cars to have a winter coat.

Mrs B,s Cab has just been sold to accomodate a Granddaughter seat so i now have another ****** black car to clean ( I vowed never to get another). Anyway its part of the VAG group so not all bad. Additions have already taken place to make it mine.

So, it was a case of

Jet wash
Snow Foam
Wash
Dry
Black glaze on one
Sealant on both left for an hour
Nattys Black wax & Nattys clear wax (one on either)
Full leather treatment
Wheels cleaned & sealed

Very pleased with myself even tho Mrs B is convinced i hace car OCD.

Now they are full of 5hite again

V.Clean. Can you expand on the above steps, ie what are those exterior products ? I am thinking of getting a air sander for my compressor to take the 'hard' work of polishing.. Was this by hand or using a 'MOP' ?

Both cars look great. Nice job.

I really love giving my motor a good clean but its a tad annoying with the weather we get it's all ruined within a day or so ( at best)

All done by hand ( well both hands swapping over when i get tired )

Snow foam is Meguiars Hyper wash

Washing is Meguiars Shampoo plus

I forgot to mention that i used a Meguiars clay bar to remove any tar spots on the Jaffa prior to sealing. I just dipped it into the shampoo plus bucket and worked it into the tar spots. came off a treat.

Black glaze was Poorboys black hole glaze
Sealant was Poorboys Nattys EX-P Sealant
Wax Jaffa - Poorboys Nattys Paste wax
Wax Passat - Poorboys Nattys Blue Paste Wax

Wheels Cleaned & Sealed with Poorboys Wheel sealer

Interior leather cleaner with Autogym Leather Cleaner
Inside trim - Meguiars Interior Trim spray.
Carpets cleaned & sprayed with Fabreze vanilla
Glass cleaned with Housing units glass cleaner ( The best glass cleaner ive ever used)
Tyres - Meguiars Hot tyre spray
Metalwork - Meguiars MX paste
