Which model does the auto lights and wipers come in. I thought they came as standard on the S line however I have seen quite a few s line on autotrader without them in

They are optional extras available separately or as part of the comfort package along with cruise control and rear parking sensors.

As above, it was never standard but should of been on the S3 at least!

Hate this add-on culture. Audi remind of a the no thrills airline.. start with a low attractive price, then keep adding to get a decent service/spec..... lol :)

Audi is the premium brand from a family of companies that all offer the same thing effectively bit with different badges. If you want cheaper, you buy a Skoda or Seat... In fact the smart people do!

People buy Audi because they want that premium car. You have to pay more to get more. In my mind, Audi is still a premium product so I pay more for it. Don't like it, don't buy :moa:

I've added all the wiring for this on mine. Looked a bit dawnting at first but if you can solder then it's not too bad.

Just awaiting a stone chip so I can get a new screen with the sensor location!

That'd make more sense if they didn't start off more expensive than most other cars in the first place. Audi are famous for everything being a cost option, but in the end it doesn't matter when you get this quality of product.

I have these on my new one but because i am a man and i havent read the instructions i still havent a clue how these work as in what postion the stalk has to be in etc ,can anyone help ?

sorry for thread jumping

place the stork all the way down then 1 notch up. the scroll wheel on the stalk controls sensitivity.

Not everyone wants all the options. At least with Audi you get the choice. Personally I do want a lot of the options but I happy to spend an extra £4.5k to get a car fitted with exactly what I want. One of the advantages of buying a new car.

all the way down plus one notch up is just intermediate wiping is it not with the scroller controlling the speed as you have put what is that to do with the rain sensor ? as my old s-line didnt have rain sensor but still did this or am i missing something ?

Its auto if you have auto wipers, if not its intermittent. The scroller controls sensitivity on auto wiper cars and speed on non auto wiper cars.

My S line has the parking sensors and auto lights but not the auto wipers, so maybe a differnt package when mine was new in 2006.

If you have Auto Lights, then you also have Auto wipers. They came as the same option...
