Thanks For Looking

Stay Tuned

Some very tasty mods there, Buddy. MY09/MY11 rear lights would look perfect on there and bring the car bang up to date. Loving the Diamond Visions, have them in my fogs and had them in the headlights of my previous car. They are the shizz of Halogen bulbs IMO. Well done, look forward to seeing more updates. xx

good to see LCR splitter putting in an appearance. My one compaint about the A3 car is when you park it next to any other car in a car park the gap between the bottom of the bumper and the tarmac is higher than most other cars. Needs a deeper chin from factory, but with the massive front end overhang I suppose engineers decided it wasnt workable.

good work!

Loving the A3 dude!

got me a few mods lined up after reading through this! are the rear lights a straight swap? did you need to do coding to get the fogs to work or have i read that wrong on other threads?

I hear a lot about the NHN guy. all good things, is he a dealer or something?

Hey everyone

Its been a while since I last updated was busy with uni and work

So me and a good friend of mine installed some under dash lighting which came out amazing but in the pictures does show up as the wrong colour. It shows up blue however it is meant to be ice white.
Ill get some better pictures up soon.

So then after some time I got hold of a much needed cup holder

IMG_5049.jpg

Some van driver thought he owned two lanes and this happened

IMG_5181.jpg

Van driver denied everything and for the sake of £60 decided not to go through insurance.

Had the whole wing repaired and at the same time got the rear bumper re-sprayed as it was needed.

rear bumper after being sprayed and end result

IMG_5553.jpg

As have been waiting for the right time and patience I decided two full detail the A3 which took two weeks as I only had time for a panel a day as I was working 8 till 6 and could only manage that as some relax time was needed.

So as followed this is what steps I had done leading up to gti international.

- Wash the car
- Used sonus clay bar
- Then 3m fast cut +
- Then 3m extra fine
- Then 3m ultra fina

I had also wet sanded the roof and the bonnet with 2500 indsa disc on a DA then used 300 grit.

What a nightmare

Also mate that double din headunit looks really nice!

I've been looking into them and it looks like alot of cost if I'm honest, so i researched single dins, which generally are hellaugly, but i think this one looks relatively smart considering, think i may go for it, saves a lot of hassle and money!

Until Next Time... B)

Hi mate, nice progress.

One question for you, how are those headlights for you?

I've heard alot about upgraded headlights burning out wiper motor's etc, these look like nice, clean OEM looking bulbs and would like a set myself, with matching sides like yours!

they are philips diamond vision mate not HIDs and cant fault them :)

side lights are from "ultra led" they are wide angel 501s

So the cars phase one is 70%ish completed <_<

So after a few days trying do some research on AP Coilovers or FK Coilovers.

after speaking to Damian at DPM Performance (may i add amazing guy very helpful) i went along with AP Coilovers

i had already sourced some wheels out and had them for about a couple of weeks before the coilovers and a mate of mine ha some tyres that he needed to get rid of and they where in my favour.

215/35/19 fullruns x2
215/35/19 wanli x2

for £120 all with 7mm thread or so cannot complain one bit :)

the wheel specs are 19x8 et45 not the best spec but it was the wheels that i was after.

so hey enough of the talking...

Looking good mate love the rims, how you finding the ride on the ap's?

i am finding it great i thought i would make it harsher however it feels like sline springs as standard and i am more then happy

one only issue is that i would like it a little more lower on the front

Car looks immense with those wheels and brakes, you're giving me inspiration!
