Right lads, I’m mostly known over at the A3 8p section but that is at rest for a while as I have bought a A4 2.6 v6 for temp but may end up keeping it as it’s a nice car :D
I have bought a set of facelift headlights, and I have the two piece headlights. i will be looking to forward to fitting them soon, I will sort out the wings so headlights will fit, but does anyone have the wiring diagram for them?
Thanks.

Amar.

Depending if you want to just buy something, there are plug n play kits on Ebay around £50, but if you can im sure it would be cheaper DIY, sorry, i dont have any diagrams though, some other members may have.

You dont need a wiring diagram, all the wires are similarly colour coded

I just cut my wiring and soldered in the facelift plugs, matching all the colours. Worth doing a pin swap at the switch too so the dipped beam stays on when you go to main beam

I did this job over 6 years ago (using OEM Valeo units) before there were proprietary looms to convert PFL wiring to FL wiring and IIRC the headlight adjustment motors are different on the 2 types of headlight with different coloured wiring; I had to consult the wiring diagram to get the FL motor connections correct.
It was fiddly to do but one of the best mods I've ever done to the car, with a bought conversion loom I'd imagine it would be so much easier.....

It was a direct swap color for color on my '96.

Just get yourself some plugs from a facelift car, and solder together the matching wires.
