B8 vs B7

I would assume (but don't know for certain) that when Audi develop a model range they develop the whole platform and this would definitely include the suspension. Suspension is one of the key areas that defines the handling of a car so why on earth would audi not strive to improve this over a previous model generation???

Which begs the question... Why on earth would you even consider putting an older set up on a current model!?!

i am just asking because i am considering if i can transfer my air bags system on the b8 model .. i look and the suspension looks the same to me ...

I know the A5 uses the same Air bag system but think it is unlikely the B7 will kit because the front struts are different
