I would polish it yourself.

If your relationship works the same as mine then you will end up paying to repair any damage to the paintwork (due to lack of talc) anyway!!

Polishing won't make it bead.

I'd just do it though. Bang a really durable wax on it and have done for a good few months.

So right it's a little corsa it's got less miles than mine lol 48k I have to say I love driving it it's an auto box it's so small you can squeeze between anything 😝

The Mrs gets a brand spanker every 2-3 years.
It goes back looking like a tramps dodgem.

But with about 4k per year the dealer usually takes it back.

She will never look after a car as long as she has a .:p...........answers on a postcard....

Lmao! Yeah this little question and answer session was never really going to make me wax it lol just wanted to see what my fellow Audi chaps thought. Bless her any car owned by her is doomed! Ask me if she drives the a3?!!! 👎💪💪💩

Our S3 is actually in the Mrs's name but she isn't even allowed to wash it never mind polish it.
She has 10 years training to catch up on 1st!
She just laughs when I mention the "double bucket" method of washing haha.

Ha ha yes mine is in the mrs name as well!! No touchy though!! Seems like though we have one lady on this thread who knows her stuff.. Just checked out your planned mods cat88.. You know a lot more than me!

My mrs has her own set of gear - double buckets (with grit guards), Lambswool mitt, loadsa microfibres and i bet she does a hell of a better job than most! Never a swirl mark in sight!

I always take good care of my cars they are like my children

Now talking of which who polishes their car with an orbital polisher, and if you have black what polish do you use? Im just looking into this, given up buffing by hand (so to speak!) and normal auto glym polish highlights any stone fleck in my phantom black finish!

Consider how she looks after YOU, and that sometimes doing something for others without reward is respectful.

I've got a great deal with my other half. She does all my washing and ironing and i clean the car...

Just in the process of purchasing her an A3 too!

hi guys, on my Ibis White 2011 A3 got Yellow Dots on paint, when washed still on. It is hard to remove them and takes long time , anybody know how to remove them easily? any spray?

By the sound of it, i think its tar you got on your paintwork. You could try to use claybar or use tar remover

Snow foam the car before washing it and then get some Iron-X on it that will remove it. I get exactly the same but the car gets washed 2-3 times a week so its easy to come off.

THREAD REVIVAL!!!

Just took the dog out to fire out its evening 'pony' and noticed its raining! So straight to the Audi I go.

I last waxed the car on the 16th Feb for the Vag and Stance meet.

We're now on the 6th of March...

This picture has no filters or effects on it AT ALL.

Purely iphone camera, and torch (its 11.45pm)

Autoglym Super Resin Polish + G3 Wax.

Not bad for 3 weeks!

So those products come highly recommended.

Easy on, easy off too!

I polished and waxed my mrs's bonnet just to show her the difference.... She still hasn't touched the rest of her car... Anyway, here are my beads.... :)

love this pic, forms part of my sig... :)
