I currently have a Micro-CAN VCDS cable which I've used with my A3 (8P).

I have a new A3 (8V) arriving in the next month or two and was wondering whether it's worth hanging onto the cable or not. Is there any info yet on whether this cable will work with the 8V or what I'll be able to do with it?

To be honest I've barely used it. I only really got it so I could adjust the xenons for driving abroad but I understand the 8V allows this via the MMI. Unless there's a pressing reason to keep it I think I'll just sell it on.

I guess with that info, then its maybe a consideration, but do you really need the money, if not I would keep it incase a mod comes up you want to do which requires coding :)

the day you have no cable
