Hi everyone i'm back after a short spell away, i used to have a Solar Orange S3 8P2 but had to sell it because i lost my job and bought a polo Gti 2007 with some cash to keep me going i then got a new job and have put the polo up for sale and will be getting a 2009 S3 Ibis With recaro bucket seats . I will be picking it up on Tuesday and cant wait i'm going to have some sleepless nights with excitement :jump:. The car has been well looked after the previous owner was in the armed forces and was a Audi fanatic so its in great condition and has been serviced twice in the uk and the last service was in Germany where he was based so its been back to its roots haha. I will be modding it but i'm going to take my time as i need to keep a check on my finances (everyone has to atm). My last S3 was taken to stage 2+ but im only going to take this one to stage 1 with a CAI and forge DV and concentrate on the cabin more with some carbon touches :).

Anyway here's some photos of the old cars and the new one

Beautiful car! Although personally i don't see why people add carbon trim to the inside of their car :( But saying that I have the same brushed ally trim round the doors and gearstick, would love to swap it for Piano black trim. Which i guess may not appeal to others!

From my short time he this forum I know that NHN is your man for this.

Great looking car and got to love those Recaros!

I love the idea of the DSG along with the flappy paddles but the cost if it goes wrong scares the bejesus out of me

lovely motor, the bucket seats kill it when you look into it from the front.

How did you know it was in Bournemouth mate?

Its still listed for sale on their site (or PH, anyway) - I started looking at it tonight but then recognised the photos from you posting them here.

Yes but now no. Long story, half touch on it in my other thread. Perfect car was pretty much this one though mate! Very jealous! ;)

Oh sorry to hear that buddy and when you say "was pretty much this one" I hope I haven't bought the car you were going to buy?

Nah mate - just meant the spec (Recaro's especially) is exactly what I wanted.

Very nice mate love the recaros looks a spot on spec

Well I picked her up today after a 4 hour train journey from Hereford to Bournemouth paid for it and had a little surprise the dealer didn't notice but its got a milltek exhaust I don't know if its just the cat back or if its a whole system will find out on Saturday because my friend who does mapping is going to check if it has a map on it because I think It might have a map on it aswell which I'm not complaining about because its saved me about of money. Anyway I loved driving it back took me 4 hours and how I've missed the power and the car in general one happy S3 owner again :)

Great news on the Milltek and the possible map - keep us updated. Glad you're enjoying!

Small Update I washed the car in the 1 day of sunshine here in wales because i couldn't remember if my car was white or a muddy gray haha. Then the next day all the little touches i ordered turned up at once and the DVLA finally got back to me saying i could put my private number plate on :jump:. So heres some of my little touches that i have done:-

The car just washed and the last time it would have its original number plate

Pressed plates and surrounds arrived :)
IMG_0940.jpg

Ditched the surrounds and just fitted the plates on there own
IMG_0954.jpg

Then i fitted the last little touch some wind deflectors

And some pictures of it all shinny :wub: (2hours after the photo was taken it poured down with rain:crying:)

i have seen them might go for them eventually but until then the metal ones will do :)

Congrats on the new purchase, absolutely love the buckets, they really make the car.
Looks spectacular after the clean!

Good call on the manual also. The DSG I had in my old 2.0T is just no where near as fun as driving stick in my S3!

thanks mate I really love it :) I see in your signature you have the bilstein coilovers and was wondering what the ride quality is like with them fitted I know you can adjust the damping levels but even on the softest setting is it like the stock ride? The reason I ask is because all the cars I've had with coilovers fitted have been to stiff a ride for where I live but they haven't had the adjustable damping.
