Grill Choices - Opinions Please

Hi all,

I've had a good look at all the previous grill threads on here and I'm stuck. I quite like the RS3 optics grill, but at £400, it's not cheap. However, the cheap alternatives are quite nice too, and they're around the £80 mark which is appealing.

Here are my choices:

Replica honeycombe:

I have a Brilliant Red 8P... I found another eBay listing with the replica grill and it had pics on a red A3...

I want people to think "wow" when they see my car - will the replica have that same effect? I feel like it could...

The replica you have posted will not fit yours, only 2005-2008.

Yours is the facelift 09, the grille is a different size.

Ah man! Cheers for the heads up. The only alternatives that fit, that I could find, were these:

RS HONEY-COM FRONT GRILLE FOR AUDI A3 8P 09-11 GRILL | eBay

2009 2010 2011 SUPER RARE AUDi A3 MESH SPORT Front Grill Grille + BLACK BADGE | eBay

Significantly more money though.

I think the eBay specials look OK IMO. Worth a change but the RS3 grill is the dogs danglies.

Definitely go for the genuine RS3 grill. It'll fit straight onto an 8P3, and it will looks EPIC!

I have a replica on my 55 plate and think it looks alot meaner than the norm and wasnt too expensive, just depends how much you want to spend.

The black optics RS3 grill looks mega as well - does anyone on here have this same RS3 grill fitted to the front of their Ibis White S3? If so, I'd love to see some pics...
