Wheel question. Info please

Anyone have any ideas what size wheel adapters I need to run range rover sport wheels? It's been done before I know but love how they look on the s3 so getting them made up as soon as I have the info. Cheers

Cheers jojo. If I get the offset are you able to work it out or at least tell me how to work it out? I know it's been done to at least 2 s3's before but for some strange reason can't find any info on them! Already have the wheels just sat here! Lol

Offest is easy, clearance depends on the wheel widths and tyre sizes. Standard is ET35, but running 10mm spacers will make this ET25. So if the Range Rover wheels happen to be ET45, I would recommend 20mm hub adaptors to make them ET25. This offset is fine for 19x8.5 size rims running 235/35 tyres. Rears you can go as low as ET15 with the same size alloy/tyre combo.

ok well the wheels are 19x9 i think? Standard range tyres on it wass 225 not sure if that will help? and tyres will be 215/35/19

Agree with Kev here, 215s on a 9" rim is stretching it a little, but if it's what you are after, I would avoid driving the car hard! 9" wide means you will need ET25 minimum to clear the strut, but if you use coilovers, then it gives you a bit more room to play with. ET53 gives you a lot of options, so just need to make sure you get your calcs correct.

Well the car above is sat on 215's so can't be as bad as it seems! Your all missing the point, all I want to know is what width adapters not my choice in tyre size! Lol as for useable.....I have 18" rims for beating it these will just be for looks when I go to shows! 18" are my daily choice! Oh and it's sat on kw variant coilys. Cheers for the help jojo

You need 25 or 30mm adaptors then, to make the rangy wheels ET23 or ET28, I've ran ET25 and ET30 with 19x8.5s and 235/35 tyres with no rubbing issues, the latter was about 3mm clearance from the strut, and I even tracked it!
