I've search and search and search but I have not been able to find how to disable these stupid lights..... I disabled my DRLS in the "auto" position but when I want to run straight fogs as shown in my pic (the only place I can activate my fogs are in the full light position and the other position indicated in my pic)... I get those stupid cornering lights and drls that come on..... how do I remove these and just run straight fogs? I changed my car to euro spec and then ran the fogs as DRLS but then when I went to put gas at the gas station my gas cap opener didn't work... so I put everything back to how it was.. Also if there is no way in hell to get these stupid things off are these the right bulbs to replace them with??

Shall we assume your 'gas cap opener' is an internal switch? Okay, that being the case, We don't have that in the UK! we just have a push to open\close petrol flap that locks\unlocks with the car's central locking ...so setting your electrics to Euro would disable your petrol flap switch. you'll need to find the code for the switch in VCDS and re-enable it after you've set your Euro preferences.

that is the standard left hand drive light switch
the red ring is on the side lights, the drl is actually brighter than the side lights but is essentially the same bulb.
unfortunately there isnt a way to disable the bulb.

this is my current switch.....

As you can see your DRL and the sidelight switch are separated. As far as i remember it cannot be deactivated but you might be able to use VCDS and code the sidelights brightness down to zero so that it no longer lights up. i dont know how that works with your country laws but that might be the solution you need.
