Looks so bare without everything on, will post it complete when everythings sorted cant wait :)

Can't wait to see it. My car decided he'd prefer the debadged engine cover and dispensed with the rings before he sought permission. he just does what he wants sometimes.

Snap.

I've seen different coloured covers over on audizine.

O and any issues with the R8 oil cap touching the underside of the bonnet.

Sorry to jump in but are these items simply laid over with carbon or have they had moulds taken and new parts made from carbon.?
Either way they look very good.....

Cheers,

HAHA quality pal :)

Well I knew it would be a kind of risk but my has it paid off!!! The lad from FITS Performance who did it has made such a good job the detail round the lettering and badge is sweet, rather than having him go round it I asked him to cover it :) all for £35 aswell!!!

Looks like a very pro job, I'll be giving these chaps a call, as luck should have a mate with a porsche was asking me about carbon wrapping yesterday ill show him this.

That does look really slick! I've never been interested in cosmetics under the bonnet before (because no one ever sees it), but I'm tempted after seeing these results...

What did it cost all in to have all the parts covered including P&P etc Danny?

Yeah the carbon dipping is really sweet and these lads are real good at the job!

I was the same then i got these engine covers and decided to do something different, so when i start having the bonnet up at shows its something different to look at rather than chrome pipes all over place :)

The prices you will have to contact the carbon dipping lads or the flocking guy and they can tailor you a price to your needs :)

Looks nice but cant see that engine cover looking good for more than a day with winter on its way and I wouldnt want to check your oil level either... are you only planning to fit it when you have it on show?

ano ahh, they clean up with soap and water like as new, but more than likely will just put on for shows

I like looks the nuts was thinking of do some to my engine bay I will now

Now I just need to find that thread with the part number for the 'extra' engine covers... I'm thinking a gold/carbon under-bonnet theme, do the water dipping guys do metalic gold?
