Hey guys

Just kerbed my wheel for the first time - stupid Shell with their stupid kerb sticking out from the pump. I'm a bit annoyed but I suppose it was only a matter of time. I've got Black Edition rotor style wheels.

The wheel has a long-ish thin kerb mark which doesn't seem too deep along the very edge of the wheel, kind of like a graze. I'll have a better look and get some pictures later if it makes a difference. Maybe 6 inches long and a few mm wide.

Does anyone have any idea how much it would cost to refurb this wheel? I'm presuming I'd be best off getting a full 4-wheel alignment done afterward too, how much would that set me back?

Cheers

£200 is abit steep!!

We've got a A4 with the 19" rotar rims on it, and at the time they were trying to sell us wheel insurance - He mentioned it's approx £100 at the audi dealership, and they basically send it off because it has to be machined?

Expensive, but they'll be good as new!

Where are you based? DIAMOND STYLING near Sevenoaks in Kent do lots of the rotor wheels and are reasonably priced too?

Rotors are Diamond Cut finished on a lathe then lacquered. As opposed to painted and lacquered.

Speak to Nathan, user N8. He is the wheel king on here. His work is fantastic, :) x

Thanks guys, I know of N8. Can't afford it just yet for the amount of damage, but that's more reasonable than I was expecting :) glad to know I can get my ****-ups sorted out, I was gutted when it happened - my total is now 3 stone chips (2 caused by the same stone, I believe), one kerbed alloy and a grazed wing mirror... not a great record for 6 months and 9,000 miles :-(
