im currently sat at work waiting to find out if we all still have a job :( which is nice considering i hopefully pick my car up from R-Tech tomorrow. finally get my car back then have no money to run it ! boo hisss

anyway anyone got some good plans for this weekend?

What have you had done at RTech mate? I'm there for a custom remap in 2 weeks.

My only plans this weekend are to go to the Emirates tomorrow then help another ASN member fit brakes on Sunday.

its been in for a week getting a custom map for my hybrid, if you didn't see in my build thread it made 272bhp 290lbft and niki said he hadn't finished it yet so more to come.

i just want the ****** back, i miss my car badly :(

Damn, what was wrong with it? My stock K04 is making more then that! Not trying to wind you up or anything.

I've not been very impressed with hybrid turbos recently, they just dont seem to be able to make the figures they should do!

EDIT - Just realised you have a K03 hybrid! That's some ****** good figures!

Joe, this undertray, is it the tray that clips into the other plastic bits and sits central? Have you got a pic so I can confirm it is indeed what is collecting dust in my garage?

I'll take a pic of mine when I get home later.

haha yeah its a k03 fitment k04 thingy

i wasn't chasing numbers but i would of been well chuffed with just that as the final result but niki said he had loads more logging to do and it might make some more power.


so bored sat here waiting to find out whats happening with work, any one want to pay me to be there IT technician or personal fluffer or pretty much anything

How long have they had the car for? They want mine for a week to map in 550cc injectors and get it as good as they can with all my mods on a K04 turbo.
 
i dropped the car off last Saturday so they have had it for a week tomorrow. i think they take a week to do custom work i think iv seen a few people say that they have kept there car for a week.

your car makes good power now, im looking forward to seeing what it does with new injectors and a new map :thumbsup:

Yeah I'm really hoping it'll hit 300bhp but some doubters say that the pistons wont allow it due to the compression rating. I'm just excited to see.

No matter what figures it has it'll still be an animal and I'll know it's running right and fuelling is safe.

Since my car is on axle stands, I can take a pic! It's held on by 4 torx screws, and maybe something else near the front, can't see.

woot forgot to say earlier i didn't end up getting laid off :D yet anyway lol

also niki just informed me that my car made 280 on the rollers :D but he turned it down to 275 since im not running any WMI.

about time jojo you can get them springs changed now!

ah your under tray looks way better than mine did, i just took mine off. there only 20 odd quid on ebay, don't go to the stealers though or TPS there over 100 quid
 
I sacked mine off ages ago as I got fed up of taking it off and refitting. I've not noticed any difference without it and I'm pretty sure it won't even fit mine any more where I've hacked all the mounting point apart for other mods.

It's yours. Do you want me to give it to Chris when I see him on Sunday?

lol i joke, i took mine off because it was paggered. and with my car been lowered i don't fancy buying one every week when it gets ripped off, yes its a sump guard but its plastic anything that's going to rape that is also going to rape the sump
 
i still have mine on, just that front one, not the main bit that covers the whole underside.

Bad times with my wheel alignment it's drivers side front and read needs parts replacing as it can't be adjusted by the mechanic so looks like I'm not going to go on the track at ADI.

Woohoo, finally changed the springs over! The job in itself is basic, very simple, but for some blasted reason, the driverside was seized, it took me almost an hour of bashing with a hammer to separate the strut from the hub! Hope I haven't bent anything! The passengerside on the otherhand, insert strut tool, rotate, and it just dropped an inch, took me less than 30 minutes to do that side. Just need to stick the wheels on now.
