Yes mate but the spokes still come out not flat...
I'll ask Prawn what offset his 1.2 wheels are as he runs them over boxsters fine.

It turns out prawn doesn't have any TD wheels like I thought bu the 2 sets of 17x8 wheels he has are both ET35 and they clear his brembos. I think ET20 for anyone wanting 17x8 should be fine an fill the arches nicely.
westy so if i go for the et 25z they will clear the brembos and fill the arches mate with 20mm rear spacer and 10mm front thanks
You wont need 10mm/15mm spacers with that offset..

tuffty i want to keep the spacers what et do u recon pal as iv got brembos too and want them to fill the arches dont get all the measurment malark im also running rs4 z at the min

OK - If it helps anyyone making their mind up, as an indicator I bought 4 ProRace 1.2 8J ET45 112x5 57.1mm in Anthracite/Satin Graphite (sort of eggshell finish) for £114+VAT each from Rimstock a couple of years ago.
DON'T FORGET YOU NEED TO ALLOW FOR A FITTING KIT AS THEY USE CONICAL WHEEL BOLTS.
YOU'LL ALSO NEED SOME CONICAL LOCKING WHEELBOLTS TOO SO MAYBE NEED A McGARD GROUP BUY!
Doh! Forgot the most important bit. They are 18s and currently on an A6 allroad. Think they would look better on my black A4 B7 Avant though.<br>Thanks for the info. What size wheels did you get? Also what price is the fitting kit? I'm not fussed about locking nuts as these wheels will only be fitted for track days.
the most frustrating thread to read EVER.
im on the fence with this, hence the lingering, dont want to say yes and not commit.

Sorry guys, I had listed it a lot neater, but obviously hitting the post button didn't agree with it
