Ibiza MK3 Brembo calipers on S3

Hi there got chance of a set of Ibiza MK 3 Brembo calipers for an upgrade to my standard s3 set up. Car is going to be running approx 350bhp when finally get round to doing it!

Just wondering.....

A) do these fit straight on and if not what will i need to fit them, adapters/discs etc??

B) is it a worthwhile upgrade for the power??

Mk3 Ibiza Cupra uses Brembo Jnr calipers IIRC... they are designed for 304mm discs... Bill knows all about these calipers as he sells new calipers with his brake kits... I know he also sells the braided hoses, pads and brackets to use LCR 323mm disks

Mk4 Ibiza use AP Racing calipers and 312mm disks... (edited as I got it a little round my neck!!)

I'd go with the LCR setup myself personally, we all know it works and bolts straight on.

that what i was thinking. If the jnr kit shares the same pistons sizes as the LCR brembos but only sit on a 312mm disk then i think its a down grade from the standard S3 setup with respect to braking force

unless of course you got a custom bracket and fitted them onto 323mm disks

ibiza cupra r brembos are GT Juniors.. and will work with 28mm thick disks... So.. options are 323x28 disk, bracket to suit your hubs and these + hoses, pads etc.. and you will end up with an equivalent of a Brembo GT Junior kit

I have brackets, hoses, pads, and disks to suit these calipers.

you will NEED 50mm Caliper clearance on your wheels to clear the caliper to spokes.. as per this piccy>

they dont, they sit with 323mm disks for 5x100 fitment, and 304x28 on ibiza fitment.. Not 312mm

brackets are £75 each, hoses £47.50, disks from £122/pair for EBC plain, of +£50 for eliptically grooved versions or £117/Each for Brembo plain disks

Brembo GT kiy are 323x28
LCR also use same size disk as OE... and prices I have already posted

if you bought a "COMPLETE" LCR brake setup then it would just bolt on yes, but it would include the caliper mounting brackets, and wheel spoke clearance comment is the same
