From my last three experiences, Aberdeen Audi service department is absolutely ridiculous. A bunch of monkeys, havnt got a clue what they are doing.

Apart from the blond girl that books in cars, rest can take a hike...

Will be using Edinburgh Audi from now on.

Rant over...

Are you having a bad day Ilim? Did they replace your my11 light? :) x

They are a pain in the **** like apart from new car sales they ain't bothered with anything else.

The warranty guy hasn't got a clue what his job his... Im sure he thinks his a farmer... *****....

Edinburgh Audi told me to tell you they dont like you either and you can stay in Aberdeen......snigger!!!

Already ordered my11s already dude. Edinburgh Audi love me...

My advice, find an indy and ditch the main dealer.
Wonder if anyone at Aberdeen Audi reads comments on this forum.. :)

They wont, ive had a few of thier ***** kicked as my dad knows the service manager there they tried to charge me 30% more than dundee for 4 wheel alignment (which is a set price) because they have "overheads" whats more the quote from dundee was just to joe public the aberdeen job was put in as trade the lad on the phone wasnt gonna let my car go!............majority of them are dickheads

note this is the only job id put up there as i don't have the facilities for a 4 wheel alignment, not to advertise but my dad is a merc / vag independent so if anyone is struggling to get some work done pm me

The parts guys are ok, though one of the younger guys was looking at me like I was an idiot when I went in with the part number for the tow-bar cover and he wouldn't accept that it wasn't the bumper I needed replaced. The older guy (think he has a wee moustache) is much more old school-nice guy, always seems in a hurry to help, and is good at helping too. They "forgot" to call me back last time I ordered a part - not a huge deal, and I know it would have been busy as it was new-reg time, but if they ask for my number and say they'll call when the part comes in then I expect them to call. I don't expect to have to wait a week then call them myself and they say "yeah, it came in last Tuesday".The service team are slow, usually quite unhelpful, and whoever they have through the back must have slept with someone to get their "approved technician" status. Took them a full week and 3 visits to not diagnose a loose screw in the turbo housing of my 8L. The narrowed it down to needing a new turbo since they'd sheared the bolts taking the manifold off.I can't say I've ever even been approached when in the showroom, so wouldn't be in any hurry to buy a car from them ahead of, for example, Dundee Audi (who I've literally heard nothing but great things about). An extra hour down the road would be more than worth the step up in the level of service. Unfortunately Aberdeen Audi are a necessary evil as I have an Audi and they're the only manufacturer dealer nearby.Luckily for Audi, they make very desirable cars, and Aberdeen has plenty of disposable income to throw at them.

Hope they do... Bunch of scum bags

Dundee Audi (who I've literally heard nothing but great things about)

who the hell have you been speaking to, useless ****s every single one of them, not one of them has a tenth of my knowledge and im not even a trained mechanic (and i know sweet **** all) and don even get me started on the body/paintwork team there T_T

His name is Alan, always very helpful, when I was changing all my interior headlining parts to black/ sline and changing my bumpers he could not have been more help. none of the usual that part number doesnt match your chassis number.

Regarding the service department, I havent really had any issues, recently had the A3 serviced and MOTed which was fine until they came to the recommended repairs, estimated bills for inexcess of £1,200. Took the car to a mechanic mate who checked over all their recommendations and only agreed with one item and he said that was stretching it, total cost £60.

Guess a meet there is out of the question then. Guess we can all go to Martins. Lol. X

Must just be the sales team then, a few guys have been going back for years after proper Audi-expected service.

Urmmmmm My A3 goes to Aberdeen on Friday (under warranty) for Oil sensor replace, Haldex Oil/Filter and some other bits.
On a side note, I did take it back a couple of weeks after buying it (found some rust and some other bits) and they sorted it out really quick and without fuss (approved section).
Next time I went, I went to servicing (enquiring about coding MY09 lights) I was told £90/100 for coding and that they didn't think it could be done!!
Hope this time round it is more like the first.

Actually, when I went in with an approved car/in warranty issue, they were actually quite good. It was just a case of "Hi... x is wrong, this is my reg", "Oh, hi Mr Jamieson, let's see when we can get the car in... would Friday be OK?". They didn't clean it though, and when my petrol pump broke 2 days before the warranty ran out (but I didn't call Audi until the day after it expired) they wouldn't even look at it for free.

The car was sat at National/Halfords for 3-4 days (easily proven, so the fault was "in warranty") since they were so busy and Audi wanted me to get it transported to them at my own cost and then pay a £90 inspection fee before they would consider a good-will repair.

Good luck my friend..

I have started an uprising against Aberdeen Audi, viva la revolution...

Alot of hatred towards Aberdeen and Dundee Audi in here tonight. Ilim just make a formal complaint to head office and take it from there.

Mark, business goes well, will be heading down to ur end of the woods to expand the business. So I won't need to deal with these bell ends here.

Is this what we were talking about for West Linton........if so cant wait....something like that is needed down here.

Yes, yes. 100% I will get one down there. We can combine Brotek with my business-. Ssshhhh :) free stuff for you do my friend.

Mmm, this is getting an interesting thread, whats going down mark and ilim? Enlighten us please. :) x

Well if we tell you, mark will need to organise a "wet" team ( if you have watch the film RED you will now what I mean).

I'd like to hope that your dad conducts himself in a more professional manner when referring to businesses that he often expects favors from, I'd also like to think if he read some your similar previous posts he'd agree that you sir are the "dickhead" I will not enter into a keyboard warrior argument with via this forum but may I suggest that if you feel strong enough in your complaints/statements then trot on down to the relevant garage and air your views to the management, or if your old man is still mates with the manager let him know your thoughts to pass on, I would doubt this after reading some of your slander though.

I've had great service from Audi Dundee so far and have no complaints.

They seem professional and always go over the work they have done. They always clean and hoover the car even the other week when it was in for a minor issue and it was absolutely ******* down the car came back gleaming.

i have read back some of my posts and i do not disagree with what you are saying they do make me come across as a child, i do retract them (i would revise them but i cannot) i have no excuse for my posts.

however every instance i have put my personal cars into Dundee i have found the results to be unsatisfactory to what i would expect, it is possible that i got unlucky and these experiences had been conveyed at the time of them. i would also like to add that i do not have anything to do with my Dads business and work in a completely different trade.

My better half picked her new TTS up on Friday, I check it over and found a fault. Phoned Aberdeen Audi and they could not do enough to resovel the problem. In streight away and fix within 20 mins.

But on the otherhand, my RS3 was in for service, when I checked the service book, the mileage had suddenly jumped up 500 miles. Do they even check the cars or just make it up. Anyway spoke to them this moring and all they offered to do was score it out and put in the correct mileage. This is not acceptable as the service book is proof of history, just editing it looks like the car has something to hide. So they offer to get a new service book, but it would only have a few pages for the history, none of the details that it is supposed to have like the build sheet on the front page.

I nkow it not a hughe problem, but you would think when someone spends that much money, they would do the job Right.

I don't think I should of looked at this thread, my a3 is going into Aberdeen Audi next Wednesday to get the haldex serviced........

Infact when I phoned up the service department, it didn't really sound like he knew what he was talking about (saying my 57 plate didn't have a haldex filter). I know a couple of the guys that work as mechanics there so i'll have to tell them to look after it/keep an eye on it.....or perhaps kidnapping a member of their family would work :eyebrows:

I've found Aberdeen Audi bend over backwards to help. So judging by the comments above they have either replaced the service manager or someone has had a bit of a red behind from Audi themselves!

Always a decent courtesy car when you book in advance (A3 Sline / A1 S Line / A4 Black Edition are some of them that I've had), parts are always ordered up just in case there's an issue on the day.

Can't fault their repair / fault finding. They even send the mechanic that's going to be working on your car to go out and have a road test / initial fault find with you so you can repeat the fault with them.

I used Aberdeen audi once earlier this year I was bit worried about their ability before I went in as I had had hassles with Aberdeen vw covering my roof lining in oil, scratching my interior trim and failing to diagnose a faulty dmf even though I told them it was tommy tucked it still took two years and vw uk involvement

However I couldn't have been more pleased with audi Aberdeen totally different it even made me think I should by another audi instead of a vw because the service was so much better thumbs up from me.

bought my last A4 from AA, and this one too....... never had an issue - maybe it's down to how you conduct yourself, alot of "i'm better than you" ego's up here.

a mate had a different story, bought his used A4, 8weeks later still waiting for it as they are "having issues" getting the original plate back on, but to be fair they gave him a new A4 quattro to use in the meantime...
