whats worse than these people advertising 'lady owner', are potential buyers that buy in to this and look for a PERFORMANCE car that hasnt been used as its intended!

A lady owner that's fitted an FR front spoiler, lowered it, stuck some snail turbo sticker on the rear screen? What it should say is
"1 lady ower on paper, v5 in the mothers name for her son due to insurance purposes"

Lol, i was wandering how long it would take for someone to suggest that and probably spot on:). As mentioned above, these are performance cars, so any attempt to deny they have been driven makes it appear worse as clearly BS.

I'd be just as worried about a car that hasn't been used properly.
I concur, but this said I give my lady's motor a good boot now and again just to make sure it gets to see at least a little of it's intended use!

I try and do that most nights - give her motor some stick, lol ;)

If its anything like my mates 1 lady owner from new 170bhp VRS then it will be mint inside and out, but thrashed just as much as any bloke.

Tuffty hit the nail on the head - it means she embarrasses blokes off the line and drives it like she stole it!!... Good girl

There's a facebook group "One lady owner, so the clutch is f-cked then" - makes me chuckle.

i remember when the FL S3 first come out my old next door neighbour's wife had a silver one her husband used to do rallying and he smacked it up twice and cracked all the wheels jumping it down back roads, everyone who had it after had nothing but problems with it. one lady owner means nothing.

My other favourite is " one careful owner" what about the other 4 bell ends that had it! And all the mates he/ she let have a go in his / her car...... We all done it , let our mates have a go in our cars or our dads. Owners means nothing nowadays, we have a Volvo d5 company car owned from new but 6 sales reps have had it over the course.......

1 Lady owner = full of car park dings, wheels kerbed like a 50p & clutch burned out...

if i were to advertise my car it would be:

very well maintained, regular services etc etc and all that bull with whats been replaced, then
also, very well used, its a fast car, therefore i use it to its potential whenever i can, and its never let me down with anything major. the car loves the stick you give it, and rewards you with many smiles. this isnt to say its not used correctly (warmed up, warmed down), i can operate a clutch unlike some people you see/hear. yada yada yada

something like that.
id also offer to take them out in it, for a good long drive, to demonstrate 1)driving style. 2)care taken 3)the reliability of it.

i personally, think a buyer would value honesty and a pitch like that. i know i would. afterall, its the truth with 99% of any performance car. anyone who thinks otherwise is frankly a tool.
