Dre's S3 adventure :)

Did you clean inside the tailpipes? Mine are black heh

Looks mint! I want to do the same to mine one weekend...

Yeah cleaned the inside to got keep on top of it as I found out with my old milltek on my focus if you leave it to long it does not clean well

please say you didnt use a sponge to clean the car with??
mircofibre mitt should be used stop damaging the paint further. Have you tried clay bar on your car yet?

whats wrong with a sponge people have been using them for years i also have mitt but dont use it all the time,
i put a clay over it a few months ago still got a smooth finish from using these products

a sponge is really bad as picks up little bits of dirt and puts onto your car buy a mircofibre mitt to be safe for your paint in the long run

up to you but look into it

making good progress makes me want to do more with mine just need the funds, keep up the good work

Why would a mitt not pick up the same grit etc that a sponge would? I think that's a little bit anally retentive to be honest :)

lol Sam i use a microfiber mitt to wash it, its softer, doesnt cause swirl marks that we all hate which ends up scratching the paint, the microfiber mitt wont..however i also use some sort of pan to let the dirt and grim to settle at the bottom of the bucket

****** hell. OCD to the max! :/ Just drive the f'er :)

I bought a microfiber sponge type deal, best of both worlds surely? My neighbours already think I'm a bit weird working on my car most weekends. If I start washing my car with a MJ glove on, they'll think I've lost it...

got my new tax disc holder today to :icon_thumright:

IMGP4649.jpg

Sorry for the off topic post, but I've just bought the same tax disc holder, and without some kind of packing, I can't get it to sit in the bottom corner flat. Did you use just the six pads that comes with it, or buy more? Just wondered if you'd be ever so kind to share your secrets ;)
callum

lol i had to move it down and to the right abit for that reason should stay on like that :)

I'm guessing you have an after market alarm if it's under the bonnet!

How come you haven't binned the N249 valve yet?

Yeah it's an aftermarket but they never bothered to disconect the Audi alarm though so if I press the Audi key the stock alarm activates if I press my alarm fob only the viper alarm activates

Not sure why I have not mate read so many mixed reviews not sure I should

I really should check my coilpack wiring. My car's been acting weird recently...

Looking good mate. No check valve in the servo hose ?

Looking good I want to put a catch can on mine but it looks like a fair bit of work . I think I'll do the n249 bypass this weekend.

Yeah really think this wiring is my issue got a harness on order
No check valve needed mate as Tuffty pointed out there's one at the top left of the engine bay behind the boost pipe
