Has anyone used the Delphi injectors on a BT build?
I was looking at the 830cc injectors for my stroker GT35 build.
Are they up for job, not going to run the turbo to the max. Thinking 20psi for a daily drive :undwech:
The block and head are ready for assembly, waiting for gasket sets, arp and misc stuff. So I need to start thinking about fueling.

never used them myself

They will be fine with that amount of boost but when you up it make sure you have a 4 bar or a Adjustable FPR just in case you need more fuel

Thanks Andrew, I have 4 bar FPR to install. Got an IE fuel rail so need to plumb the FPR into the rail.

Yip got a 044 pump that will be install in a swirl pot. That should be enough hey.

I guess if Bill uses 830's in his race car, I'm pretty safe :)

I do indeed run 830's, but along side 750's so please dont use me as a guide for injector sizing.. I run 8 injectors 750+830 per cylinder

830's should be adequate for 20psi GT35 boost flow.. (IF) you do keep it there.

22psi on my gt35 hybrid is make me 460bhp, 12psi makes me 360bhp

The 830's when I first used them max'd out at just over 500bhp when I 1st used them, so had to get more fuel in.. I used to run 35psi boost to 9krpm back then. Currently quote conservative at 26psi peak boost and 8800rpm hardcut

Bill, you are one crazy dude, 35psi :wtf:

I think you should just run 4 x 044 pumps direct to the intake

I dont plan on going over 450bhp for awhile, so think 830cc are safe for now.
Is the delphi a good brand? I hope so, as I have paid $200 for them.

Also, just for interest sakes, would you mind sharing how you fitted 8 injectors into the mani?

I think my 830's are delphis
I run twin 044's, swirl pot, S3 in tank pump, aeromotive fpr, -8 line feed, -6 line return

SEM man modified for 8 injectors by me. twin fuel rails (RMR)

your engine running ok now?
whens it going to do its 35psi 600+bhp target then?

seems like forever in the coming.. You must be patient as heck? All that time and effort, £, and not there yet (that would be frustrating for me)

We need a 600bhp S3 on the forum

Lol I know bill I really need to get my finger out and get it sort once and for all

I can't see it doing 600 but it would be good if it does but I will be happy in the mid 500's

mine was 589bhp from 26psi over the weekend with a little added timing
35psi will **** 550bhp

I hope so but i'm just going by what it last did but then it had standard cams, 3 bar FPR, 0.63 hot side, and oil passing the rings into the cylinders and not fully mapped, just not getting my hopes up.

Now have Piper cams, 0.82 hot side, Adjustable FPR 1-5 bar, and new JE rings so yes i hope it gets near to 600 or 600

If it doesn't hit 600 i will drive it and enjoy it with 500+ then look into the best way
