4 weeks so far... still on there... easy to apply and remove... first time ive washed the car twice in a month and i havent had to polish or glaze after that. What a product! Next up in the long haul test... swissvax.

if it hasnt been covered then whats your wax of your choice?

A couple of coats of Blue Velvet will last between 3 to 4 months as its a hard wax

I tried some Werkstat on my Ibis White S3 and the results were amazing and topped it off with AMDetails glaze. I've been been trying to find a good combo for white cars for a while and I think this could be it unless anyone has any good tips

I usually use Megs NXT but thought I would give DDJ Blue Velvet a go. Polished the car with AG Ultra deep, which to be honest I wasn't that impressed with. Out came the panel pot of DDJ Blue Velvet and on it went. It was hard to see where I had done but eventually did the whole car, smells nice too.

The following morning we had a small shower of rain....

AG Ultra Deep Shine is one that's gathering dust at the back of the garage. I just don't get on with it. Always end up with white streaks, seems to be a pain to buff off. I have DJ Blue Velvet Pro (panel pot) and have been happy with it.

Scotty, don't get me wrong, it gave a nice shine, but its the after affect of the dust it creates, if you don't use enough it dries as you apply it, use too much and it creates a lot of dust, there is no middle ground.

I will be sticking to P/B Blackhole in future.

You could try using a damp applicator as this will help reduce the dust

A/G Ultra deep shine creates dust when you remove it once its hazed. I know its because too much is being applied but it doesn't seem to go on correctly when you use a small amount. Its a shame because it gives a great shine, doesn't seem to fill as well as P/B Blackhole though.

Glad it's not just me! It does give a nice shine but it just seems so fickle for something you can buy in the shops. If it was a pro product I might understand it a bit more.

Just the one coat, did the whole car then buffed off. It was a bit windy when I took the photo earlier hence the streaks. The car actually needs a wash as its quite dirty, hasn't been cleaned for two weeks.

Right I thought that might be the case to be honest, you can see that the protection is starting to deteriorate as the beading are no longer full circles like your previous picture posted.

Ideally you need to get a good two coats on and it will then last between 3 to 4 months, however you need a minimum of 24 hours between applications to allow the gases to excret and cure properly. I know this is sometimes difficult when you are working outside, therefore it can be a case of doing one coat this weekend and another coat the following.

You may notice overtime when you rinse the car off that the water behaviour changes, initially it runs off straight away but after a time it starts to stick to the panels and drying is a little harder
