Are the wing mirrors easy to remove

Searched for a "how to", but had no luck. Anyone removed their wing mirrors, if so how easy is it....or not lol.

Over on A4mods is a window regulator how to,that might help.

when i swapped mine for the B7 RS4 mirrors
i had to remove door trim
then to get the wire out i had to remove the full window frame
was kinda easy first time i done it
a fair few bolts tho

I was thinking of taking them off to make it easier to vinyl wrap my chrome window surrounds, sounds like to much hassle tho

i wouldnt bother
just wrap them and take your time
if i was closer id do them prob a 2 hour job
