code reader?

The best code reader is vcds, yes its expensive, but its fully supported by ross tech with free updates. User nhn on here is a supplier. You can get cheaper cables through ebay etc, but they dont always read all the codes. Wisest investment is vcds. Sure someone will be along shortly with advice on cheaper alternatives. :) x
 
Vcds is very cheap considering what it can do for that price too.

Vcds can also read generic codes on some cars.

It is more than £250 from RT themselves, more like £270-£280 with taxes & charges, I sell at £250.
 
You could always just give a member near to you with VCDS some beer vouchers for looking at your car.
