Hey all

So I would actually like to do the air box mod in order to use the blue jetex filters 80mm future proof but what length? Also needing a link to the mod so it can be enclosed in the current air box.
either that or does anyone have a green cotton or jetex panel filter that fits a 1.8tfsi 8p?

Thanks muchly

Dan

What do you expect to achieve from the change in the filter, is it a washable version?

If you're expecting a power increase you may a couple of percent.

I don't think these are worth much to be honest.

Doubt you'd even get that, oem's were tested to flow just as much or more than oem fitment aftermarket filters, for me its £50 wasted unless its reusable as per my bmc, but as per Alex, we have engine mods to suit, his more than me lmfao.

Yeah I am looking for a re usable one. Some people have commented that theirs have made the car more free flowing, feels a little more lively?

Fair enough. Lol :) no filter for me then.
maybe Rnse next......? Hmmm worth that or the pioneer 7" screen?

^^^saves starting new thread?

Well I supply/fit rns units mate, give me a shout if my services are needed :)

When I bought my first S3(8P) new in 2007 i was worried about Audi spazing about warranty if i fitted CAI and removed engine cover. So to play it safe I got an early version Carbonio carbon intake which came with a foam panel filter. It.....made a slightly different noise. Other than that....?

I work all over the place mate, so location usually isnt an issue :)

Send me a PM if you would like to discuss anything with me, Dan just gonna reply to yours now, sorry for delay.
