Quiet B8 forum???

Never mind, I just looked it up on the Sudi website and it only comes with Google maps if you choose the phone prep high... Not bothered if it doesn't come with it because the nav looks good already and will, hopefully, get me where I need to go without Google Earth. And apparently it comes with the traffic monitoring through the radio and so has dynamic route guidance. Didn't know that so it's awesome! :)

It is awesome. I've read quite a few posts on audizine that a lot of owners with the Audi connect are not renewing the subscription due to poor wifi pick up so I'm glad I just went with the tech pack high.

I totally agree, it working depends on having a good enough signal and I know what it's like sometimes on the phone trying to get maps in remote places so I'm happy with the tech pack high as well. :)

I can't imagine you've ever needed any more than the nav provides as it seemed very competent to me on my test drive and with the 7 digit postcode input it was easy to use.

My 12 year old daughter mastered the nav in about 5 minutes, I'm still learning!

In reply to the 1st post, B8 forum has actually ot busier of late, trust me as people are moving from 8P upto a more refined car lol.

They can both operate every technical aspect of our home and often question why i am doing something 'that way' as it would be easier like this!!!!!!!! DOH!!!!! Even the laptop is easy for them. They can make a power point presentation do things i never even knew possible! Help

OML you're in serious trouble, you should of jumped on the mars rover mate for about 10-15 years lol.

Anything with 'Rover' in the name won't last! It'll rot away in a few years! :lmfao:

& lose 99% of its value when it leaves the forecourt.

Hi All, I agree this is a very quiet forum.

LOL

I have a 7 year old girl and 4 year old boy, they crack me up when they just pick up anything with a screen and start swiping and pinching (ala iPhone) they can even unlock mine and my wife’s iPhone’s to use the camera without the password, use my laptop, TV, DVD, Wii, Sky + HD, Anytime etc.

All I knew how to do when I was their age was climb trees, make bows & arrows and spend half my life in A&E or will my knees covered in plasters.

As for the financial side of it all, god knows how I afforded this new car :)

Yup. Climbing, falling, running, hiding and generally having a magic time at no cost oh and dont forget not bothering anyone or being nasty to people because we have nothing else to do (added to the fact that we would have got a hiding form whoever we annoyed and our parents when we got dragged home by the ear)....ah the bygone days of yester year lol.

Auld gits the lot of us he he he
