Sad times Adam, I drove past last week and saw a BM 5 series parked up next to it, think you were chatting to someone about the car?

Never thought that these wheels would suit the 8L but they look really, really good. Are they 19s? Reps or OEM?

Hey guys,
Posted these and more in the welcome section, just thought I'd add a couple to this thread.

Ajd S3 - that looks amazing, what sort of arch work have you had done to get them under?

Literally all I've done is roll the front arches, so in other words folded the lips up on the inside, and trimmed the front and rear arch liners to give me a bit more space. The rear arches themselves are practically flush as standard, so I didn't need to touch these. There's absolutely no rubbing, not even on full lock or over bumps.

I really wanted to take the car up to Audis in the park this year, but unfortunately it clashed with my holiday. Really wanted to let people see it in the flesh!

So if i see it right, being that I have an a3 and that s3's have wider arches. With a bit of rolling, 8j rims would be achievable. I'd love a set of rota's, but quite keen on team dynamics 1.2. What et are you running?

8J would be achievable, but they would be VERY wide. Even with arch rolling, you'd probably get away with it, but it'd be the legal side of things I'd worry about...
My wheels are ET 23.

I wouldn't know exact measurements you'd need for your car, as you've already said, mine is far wider. Maybe ask some of the other guys with modified A3s?

Hi Future

Was it you with the lovely clear headlights and kalibre rims ?
Think knoxie was directly behind me with knoxie junior playing gta all day :)

Regards
Rick

Wasnt me im afraid i was in the line of silver s3's though, iirc those headlights were about a week old because dan had his car crashed into and recently set right. And knoxie's little boy was awesome! he will be driving by next week dont you worry!

Hey all.
Posted a few pics before, but finally got round to taking some better ones after a good polish and wax. Sorry for the massive dent on the bonnet, I've a previous owner to thank for that..
My car's pretty standard atm, apart from: forge 007p, plate surrounds, wind deflectors, aero wipers, black grille and Re-badged. I'm planning on
getting the facelift rear lights and lowering it 25mm with some RSTT's, then going to look at some performance mods.. :eyebrows:

It's quite well specced too with the Following Options:
Black Leather/Blue Alcantara
Heated Seats
Sunroof
Bose Speakers & Sub Woofer
Symphony Stereo with 6 in Dash CD Player
3rd Rear Headrest & Safety Belt
Front Centre Arm Rest
Interior Light Pack
Auto Dimming Interior Mirror
Side & Curtain Air Bags

I'm the 4th Owner but it's only got 34000 Miles on the clock.

It's been re-mapped at some point but its off to Jabba Sport soon for a 'Proper Job'

Hope you like
Cheers
Leon

Wow! Love this car.. looks amazing! Crystal blue, same colour as my dads old A4. By far one of the best colours for the A3.

How mine currently sits. Needs to come down on the front a bit more but i have been thinking of rota grids for a while after seeing a noggy blue and now the above
