Much respek to the athletes. Like westy i have enjoyed the olympics this time round for some reason too... women's beach volley ball has been a slight influence...:thumbsup:

Every ones been busy over weekend i take it?

I relived my self of just close to a grand yesterday on an engagement ring.... Things are gettin serious, i could of had a nice hybrid setup on my next car with that doh lol

evening all!

just sat down with a stella after a cracking weekend @ AITP!

96% of the pub regulars attended (you know who you are!) and was a good weekend!

met fred finally, also stace and roobarb! its nice to put a face to the names!

cheers for putting up with me too lads! a big pat on your backs!

the show was great! and the weather was definately our friend and i am sore off the sunburn here!

another big thanks to admin and co who did a sterling job on the stand and keeping us stoked up on burgers! :thumbsup:

even the ride home was good as i was following a fair few nice fords (was there a ford show on too?) and was watching an escort cosworth teese a focus RS, by pulling up beside him then boot it! and, my, my,! it shifted! and i was forever driving through petrol fumes!

overall a good weekend and just watching the olympic ending ceremony and not impressed so far! but, then it has a lot to live upto after the start!

was a good laugh with you all lads, as always. cant wait for the next one now.

and Ford Fair was on this weekend too, hence all the fords, saw my mate in his mk1 fiesta on the m6 so we had a good chat in the crawling traffic which was funny. saw a broke down mk3 rs turbo, fiesta zetec s, escort cosworth lol.

Bit early but I just looked for hotels for ADI.
Premiere inn wants about £40 for a twin room with two adults.
It's based in chippenham so not far.
I could look for cheaper places closer to bristol or swindon.
Just means more of a drive on the day.

We've not stayed before.
People made their own way there.
I think Jay stayed in a hotel last year.
I stayed with family.
But if the pub lot stays. I'll join them.

Great day out as usual, good to meet Crazy and Chez finally. Luckily for me I only live 35 miles away so it was a nice short drive home. Instead of fords I got caught up in a convoy or 6 minis that had been to some show. I also ended up destroying a MR2 turbo that wanted to play ;)

ASN ruled the club stands, what an improvement over Inters!

Now got to rush to get my car finished and track ready for ADI.
 
Was it Aitp yesterday? I think an imposter went pretending to be me, and you know I'd never go to a car show. My neck is so sunburnt. And I've got a hat on this morning as I'm hiding my red bits. Although Laura finds my white bits sexy ;)

Nice to meet everyone finally. My virtual friends are not virtual anymore...I feel so cool now. Real friends, wahoo.

That's impossible as most of us are pretending to be two people! Like me, I tuck my nuts up and away I go.

And i'm glad Damo didn't go, my ring would have been perforated.
 
The funny thing is, i have the smallest arms ever. They're like pipe cleaners! I felt so inadequate next to Karl...who was dying to get his arms out for us all to see.
 
Yeah was a quality weekend and great to meet chez in the skin not his blow up alter ego lol looking forward to ADI as Iv never been to that before.
 
Yeh these meets are a good laugh. Anyone here going to track at adi?

No chance cooking brakes at Castle Coombe Circuit, it's only 15 minute'ish sessions! Not open pit free for all, it's all controlled! Plus it's not really a heavy braking track like Rockingham.
