I've got a H&R coilover kit that goes down 110mm with out having to cut bump stops or remove helper springs like the other kits, it is really nice

You won't be able to lower 80-100mm on coilies and get great handling. It is 1 or the other in my opinion. You can still go low, like N8 says I'd go for KW. The V1 are a good compromise or if you want adjustable damping then go for the V2 or Weitec Hicon TX

Loads of options here

I'm yet to experience it, but Simon Sweetland with an Mk5 ED30 has custom Extra Deep H&R coilovers with adjustable topmounts that go -140mm, he claims they ride excellent and handle very well! Here's his car:

N8 was talking to Si about these kits and they seem to do the job and looks amazing when slammed. Was thinking about these myself when I a go for coils. For a full blown set and adjustable front top mounts they come in around £1500+ if you go for the 140 mm kit. Well worth the money if you want lows without air, not too sure how bouncy they would be. However Si did assure me that they are an amazing piece of kit if set up properly.

Like anything it comes down to personal taste and good old hard cash.

the price aint that far off air so why not go the whole hogg, unless youre one of these static lunatics, i like my comfort :)

Does anybody have some before and after shots of a S3 on H&R -25mm lowering springs?
