As the title suggests really... I got a call from Audi Aberdeen saying there were some slots that had opened up for a 1st September delivery so I snapped it up as quickly as I could.

Much better than the end of Novemeber delivery as was originally expected, now I'm just stupidly excited!

I get mine on the 3rd, soooo excited, might be a bit too knackered to play with it though, we have our 1st child on the 17th aswell!!!

Awesome! What is it you're getting? I'm just really sad and look out for the new plates on the day they come out to see who's gotten a shiny new car and now it will be ME! Haha.

Just picked up mine yesterday sod the registration change could not wait.
Mines a BE avant in Scuba Blue was not 100% sure about the colour but looks great especially with the black highlights and privacy.
In fact the salesman was not sure either till he saw it and promptly sold four more when he showed punters what its like in real life.

Yeah I'd originally put myself down for the blue but changed because they couldn't show me one in the metal and I didn't want to end up with something I didn't like. Glad that it doesn't disappoint though! They didn't offer me an earlier pick or anything so didn't have to worry about new vs. old plate choices thankfully. Haha.

Should of delayed the car mate, the kid will take the shine of that for sure lol, now comes a new experience for you all totally worthwhile, but prepare yourself now as much as possible as nothing else can lol.

I have photos but to be honest they dont do it justice, the colour looks very flat in a photo and lacks depth.
Its a very odd colour, when its cloudy looks very like midnight blue but when the sun comes out it changes totally.

If you want to appreciate the colour you have to see it in the flesh.

Unfortunately its a company car so as id delayed it a month already (due to me being incredibily shallow and wanting a new reg) I have no choice but to have it. Im bored with my Accord now anyway!

Mines a SE Technik Avant, with a load of toys but a boring diseasal engine (163 TDIe).

You are right of course, but when my last but 1 companny car was a Focus ST3, I kind of miss the petrol smell lol

Yeah I bet you do miss it! Haha. That's a brilliant company car! I've got an Astra VXR and that's got some good torque but I'm hoping the new derv to have a big slab more again.
