Fitment of front wing

Hi guys,
To cut a long story short, the o/s front wing on my 2001 1.8t A3 is damaged so I have managed to source another one, same colour, unfortunately it's off a mk1, will it fit my mk2?

For one I know the side indicators and area around headlights are different, hence rectangular on the facelift, whereas they are square on the pre facelift.

I think the indicators in the wing are different, the difference in headlight fitment can be trimmed
