dm forged rifle drilled rods anyone using them

just a quicky guys does anyone run the above rods can get them from the state good price just wondered if they were any good thanks

I have them, not yet fitted, but lovely looking bits of kit.

Sam Bryant is running them in his engine, as are many others on the Seat forum.

Welly also has a set in his new build.

Bill looked at mine, and said they were very much identical to the IE rods I believe.

They are made by Issam from INA, i have a set of rifle drilled ones for my stroker kit

Already have it but not fitted yet, 2008cc kit using the 83mm pistons, 2 litre TFSI crank and 144x20 rods

if on 1.8t block 144x20, but special pistons which have different pin height

So the 2.0tfsi is the same as the 1.8t just stronger and different pistons needed. Cool.

tfsi crank when used in transverse 1.8t strokers has the oil pump drive sweated on, and special pistons which alter the pin height..

92,8mm crank on 82.5mm pistons in a 1984cc ABF engine for example has 159mm rods, but its block is some 15mm taller measuring crudely from base to top of block.

I have a GT2871R kit but being as i decided to have a go at making the leon 4WD (hence me joining here as i will be using S3 rear end) i thought i'll go even bigger.
Looking into the 500's now, some the new borgwarner EFR series are very tempting
