Looks alot like the A4 in that last pic I think.. It's one thing I don't like about the sportback is how similar it is to the A4..

At the moment it's makes me very glad I purchased a new 2012 A3 2.0TDI Sportback in March. Perhaps it will grow on me over the next 3 to 4 years.

Glad ive just bought a 2012 BE! Looks like a sad whale from the front with those headlights!

It will make the 8P date over night once it's out and common place on the road. I like it and it's exactly how it should look considering all Audis look the same.

All you guys saying it looks like a mini A4 the 8P Sportback looked like the B7 A4 too so no change there!

It looks like a combo of 8P, 8V & B8, mirrors look wrong tbh, but I like it atm, but its not finished yet, so I'll wait for judgement when got a leg in the door.

mirrors are totally wrong. maybe with old style mirrors i could like it but like this not..

I especially like the fact it only shows 1 headlight for rhd & lhd on the adaptive type, finally an adaptable adaptive version!!!!

I especially specifically like all the technology mods I could fit on a new car, urmm maybe I found my new car afterall.

Well spotted. I've been looking at some of the parts in the latest ETKA but I'd not spotted the single headlight units for LHD and RHD.

Yeah but only the adaptive headlight dave, which stands to reason given has L/R movement, so must have a calibration for lhd & rhd with this motor, cool huh.

VW are launching the new Golf 7 on 4 September including a four-door version with the new GTI due to be released for the Paris Motor Show. This may give further information about the range of additional engines that will be offered on the new A3 and S3 as they both use the same MQB platform.

So it really was a Golf 5.5 as thats fairly quick release of the 7 after the 6 huh hurrrmmm 5.5 came out, took what 9 years for a new A3.
