Hi folks,

Now i know there is a couple topics about this but cant seem to figure out which ones are best for which model/ age audi.

My car is a 61 plate ( 2011) model, still trying to work out what all this MY09/10/11 etc etc is about.

Which ones would best suit my car as a read some have trouble due to the folding mirrors, some cause excess wind noise.

See links below to the ones ive found and any info on these or others i have not found would be greatfull !!

Team Heko:

AUDI A3 S3 8P 3DR 2003-2011 TEAM HEKO WIND DEFLECTORS TINTED | eBay

Climair :

 -  Audi A3 3 door 05/2003 on Front Window Deflector (pair)

Cheers,

Euan.

I don't know about your car but my personal experience with team heko is not the best.

The drivers side deflector broke when fitted, then the passenger one broke about 2 months later and the rear deflectors started to fall out.

I don't personally be using them again.
Looking at the Climair ones now, thanks.

mine is the 3 door a3 so i will only require the drivers sind and passenger side deflectors.

Your 61 will fold up and in if they are electric.

They will really push in and mark your mirrors with the Team Heko. This happened to mine and got annoyed that I wasn't using the folding mirrors so I took them off.

No experience with the other brand

Mine did the same thing.
They took paint off.

i have the team heko ones and yes it hits the mirror, there is a thread somewhere on this forum where someone has the climair ones and it doesnt rub the mirrors and apparently fit better?

I fitted the ClimAir ones and they don't touch the mirrors, but my mirrors are MY09 and don't fold up! not sure if MY11 fold upwards or not. I don't get any wind noise from them either.

I'll add that it's taken about two weeks for them to bed in & auto-closure to accept them without dropping back down a little - when you have to hold the switch to close them! but it's all good now though.

I have always used Heko (on my Golf and thn my A3. Fitted fine, never broke, looked good, did their job.

I don't have folding mirrors though - sigh!

BUY the climair ones much better than the team heko!
I have had the hekos they are cheap and nasty
