Hi.
I've just had my 2008 A3 lowered with Eibach Sportlines and I'm thinking of fitting some 19" wheels.
Which offset wheels and tyres should I go for to prevent rubbing?

Thanks
Chris

i was asking simular questions previously, i have a 08 plate s-line and really want the same springs as you, but im looking for 19's too. what MM have u gone down? depending on how low youve gone will depend on the offsets and so on.

but i was adviced by N8 whos wikid, said if u want 19's go for obviously 5x112 and ET45. or if u want 18's youl get away with ET35

although this advice is vaige i thought it might help.

Depends a lot on the wheel width as well. 19x8.5 ET45 with a 225/35 or 215/35 is the preferred set up

Post up what wheels you are considering and we can tell you if they'll work or not

Thinking of going for these wheels but in 19" form - they're not in stock at the moment and I can't seem to find them anywhere else.
18" Autodesign Florida Alloy Wheels

Haven't totally made my mind up yet, I quite like the TTRS wheels but not a big fan of the two-tone colour.

Hi i have 235/35/19 tyres on my car could this be why is catching on bumps ??? Thanks

The thinner the Tyre, the more stretched it will look. Which some people like.

I'd guess on a 8.5j a 215 would look a little stretched. I run 215 on my standard sports, and whilst not stretched, they do look skinnier.

I'm thinking of 19s as well.
Thing that worries me, is I get some scrubbing on 17s, 215 45 17, on eibach sportlines.

Remind me of the bk racing, Khan craze in early 2000s.

Not my cup of tea.

Im after either a 5 or 6 spoke that are easy to clean front and back. I might be better off with TTRS wheels.

thanks mate, running 225 35 19 on 8.5j 45et ttrs reps
with eibach sportline spings on stock shocks :) drives better than stock springs as I found them harsh on bumps

can you help me upload pics as im new cheers

Love the wheels mate where did you get them ? They look better than some reps i have seen some are just flat yours seems to be concave like the puka ttrs wheels.

Looks really nice that mate.
Do you get any rubbing with those wheels?
Also, where did you get your headlights from?

Chris

Thanks guys

My car is 2009 58plate s line black edition so came with the headlamps as factory.
