Reps, and probably stay with 18's as roads around me are ****e

N8, how does the machined lip hold up, heard of issues with pitting, is this something to worry about

where are those from m8 and how much for a set with tyres if you dont mind me asking
cheers

+1 for rotors. Love these style of wheels.

As for protection, Planet Polish Wheel Seal & Shine. Great results and the bottle will last for ages! :) Once applied only need shampoo and water to clean so no harsh chemicals. I must have had the bottle two years, apply regularly and there's still loads left.

I'm a big fan of the Rotors but don't think they look right on the B7, therefore I'd vote for the twists. Also with both these wheels brakes will be on show quite a bit.

ah, now that's something I didn't think about

A quick example of what I mean:

If you got the 170tdi it won't look that bad but if like me you have the 140tdi the brakes will look weak against the wheels. I'd be tempted with a more fuller wheel. Example

Hope I've not stirred your porrage to much Macdoon. Also borrowed pics from DavsA4.

i personally went for these as i have had the dtm/bbs style on my last few cars and they are a pig to clean properly without removing the wheels , this style you can get your hand in easily to keep them nice and clean at the back

our kids getting some 19" rotor replicas for his grey 170 s line tomorrow ,will get some pics if i can for you .

Rotors. Although saw some really nice set of alloys on a b8 a4 avant. Must be a black edition or something. Was a tfsi in white, exhaust on each side, with a white diffuser. Looked spot on. Similar to rotors but had a bigger flat bit in chrome on each arm of the alloy.. .

I think I know the ones you mean, the polished lip on the arm goes about halfway down
