1st sorry if i should have been able to find this info, tryed the search option but not having much luck.

I found these wheels and didnt think about the ET, as they are 35, like my Golf, but what are the A3 8P1's as standard? and are they the same as a mk5 Golf.

i wanted some LMR or LM reps, but finding it hard to find them in 5x112

Standard 7.5/8" wheels are around ET52-54 for the 8P

What width are the wheels you are looking to fit? 8.5 ET45 is seen as perfect wheel size for the A3 but you can go wider and use lower offset wheels

these were 8,5 wide. so ET 35 so gunna stick out a bit to much really then. dont seem to have much choice in 5X112 :(

I ran et32 18x8.5 and i thought they filled the arches lovely. Cant seem to find any photos though. If your going to lower the car you will want low profile tyres as well to avoid any rubbing

It'll be fine dude, just run a 215/35 tyre on them. I have 8.5" wheels (ET38) on the front and they fill the arches nicely

225-40-18 with et35 rears with 9.0 wide..

Same specs except 8.0 wide in the fronts.. Rears have a little rubbing when we are 3 person in the car.. Camber is -2.0 ishes..

As john said you will need to run 215/35 tyres. 225/40 nearly ruined my arches when i had my car full with wheels.. Would of ordered 215/35 if they were on lower than two weeks. Will you be lowering the car?
