p/s carpet all wet

so a few weeks ago there was about 2 inchs of water at the back of the p/s seat. I looking around i saw the window frame had dropped a little (3mm) there had been 3 days of rain and as i dont use the car daily, didnt see it. Took it to a garage and they fixed it. Hoovered out 10 littres of water and dried it out.

Today went out and carpet again wet.

I looking under the car, the small gromit was ripped (under the well behind seat) On pulling it a little water was coming out. I recall a few days ago, the road was flooded and was a good foot in water i drove through.

Do you think water comes in on that gromit? as the front foot well as well has water in it.

Ideas?

hardly any water will come in through ripped grommet even in flood, you have a leak somewhere!

well i just took the gromit out, and water is out, have looked at the front of car, in that footwell and is damp, but not wet wet. i pulled of the plaster cover under the windscreen where the air filter is and is all bone dry. So i cant see a leak there

well i got the seat out, sucked out 4-5 litres of water

looked about as you said. Ran some water around door frame, nothing

then tried the corner of the window......

some water was dripping down the amp wire, the ex owner did. Weird as for 5 months no issules...

but here is a pic of his crap routing, i have sealed and will check once dry.

seems is a lot better, also found out a missing gromit under the carpet

digging up a old post as i was the OP but cant login

i still cant reset the airbag light after replacing the seat, any help, ideas?
