4 speed to 5 speed

Just a random thought I've been having and thought I'd look in to it a little bit more.

My box has not been right since I got it, I've replaced the oil in it and it got a bit better but gone back to being a bit off at changing gear (snatching), snatching in to reverse and some times slow at changing gear. Its usable and not to bad at the moment but thought I'd look in to alternatives when it does go pop.

Any one replaced the DMX 4 speed auto box on a B5 to a 5 speed or other automatic box?

Any one know if there is any alternative autoboxes to fit to the AFN TDI engine?

That would be nice but don't think its possible on my ageing B5.
5 speed trip would be lovely.


But which one, how and so on.
