The next wave - 8V mods on an 8P

I recon there will be a lot of stuff compatible for my10 upwards cars, they wouldn't have revised the Electrics for nothing besides anything can be done with the will it will be the physical fitment that's the real challenge IMHO

I'm most interested about seats... I would like to put these babies in mine:

Audi A3 S3 8V 3 Türer Leder Lederausstattung Alcantara Komplett einbaufertig B&O | eBay

I guess fronts will probably fit, but I am not sure about the rear bench for 3-door model :(

Problem is finding good ones from 8p :(

you can get 8p buckets for that kind of money ;)

Nothing about the 8v does owt for me, think it's spoilt the S3 summat chronic..

ok guys, i'm new, but i've been reading posts here for a while already and always found my questions so i didnt need to register.
but couldnt find this so i'm asking now.

i purchased a fbmfsw from 8v and i'm trying to retrofit on my 8p3.
today trying to assemble, realized the harness connector from the airbag was not fitting...

is there a way to make it work?
do you know if its worth to try to repin the connector from the harness, or if there is a way to replace the G85.

please tell me someone knows about this, or has already done this mod.

thanks in advance

Yep I fitted a set of 8V seats into a 3 door 8P earlier this week. The fronts go straight in but need wiring adapted, the rears however needed some work doing to it but we managed it and it looked really nice once we had finished

How easy is to re-wire the front seat adapters? Also, for the rear seat, would it be the same or easier on a sportback?

Would love to see some pictures too!

The front seats are not that easy as you need to completely rewire them to suit the 8P, all the plugs are different from the 8P plugs that are under the carpet so its a lot of work.

I can't see it being any easier on a sportback, the seat frames are different.
