Interesting night last night, geeza never showed up to buy the golf, but might be coming round tonight instead.

At work, the feck off 60t machine popped a main hose whilst out in the sea, and it took us 3 hours to drag it off the beach across the rock whilst the tide was coming in!

At one point we called the owner and told him he'd have to weigh it in as we didn't think it'd come off!

Morning,

Quick update on the cat, we have him back home and the blood tests came up negative. He is a bit better and so we are taking each day as it greets us. I'm off later to pick-up some anti-biotics just in case it is some kind of parasite issue.

Urgh! I'm annoyed!! My mate wrote off his LCR last month, the whole complete front end was intact, he got it back for £700, I was going to offer him some money for it! He was looking for 1500, so I never made him an offer, but someone waved £1100 in front of his face and took the whole car away! Wasted!! The Brembos, the low mileage engine, everything all gone! Baaaarsteward! :(

Thanks Sarah. How is AUS treating you ? Our programmer is coming back after a year, exchange rate is hurting him too much. Still works for our sister company and gets paid in sterling.

Hiya, yes Aus is good. Cold at night at the mo but the days are generally warm. Life is soooo laid back here its unbelieveable. I feel for your programmer, ouch still paid in sterling! That wont go far over here for sure. Its pretty dear here but wages here are higher so do help.

He is passionate for the site and it shows, ok he has said things in haste,,,,, but who hasn't?

Morning pubbers christ this is the earliest iv been in the pub for awhile :)

Everyone well i take it? My car is at £740 on ebay at the mo :) and i had a good race with a scirocco R yesterday, was quite surprised to stay with it to about 60 but it just had the legs once i changed to 3rd :( but still chuffed my sub £1k wopper made him sweat abit ha.

So scottys at le old mans, and audreys playying up, couldnt of happend to a nicer guy ;) lol joke aside i think they should make scott the official asn embassador lol

What engine does the rocco R have? Is it a 3.2 lump?

I smashed a 2.0 TSI rocco in my S3 when the turbo had 3 cracks through it. Wasn't impressed with the rocco, thought it would have been quicker.

Rocco R is 2.0t with same power as 8P s3 I think.
 
I like them till my eyes get past the B pillar. Then they look ****** awful. Dont think its 3.2 but i know they only fwd.... Why vw did this god knows ???

Fred you have to remember their are a lot of strange people in the world that don't map their cars.

Also, up to 60ish, as long as the gap in bhp isn't massive the difference between cars isn't a lot, its after about 80 that power kicks in. I can pretty much keep up with old man reesbags s4 until about 65, and could keep with the 300+ s3 until about that speed as well, then my lack of bhp gets found out :(
