Interior LED Package installed (PIC HEAVY!)

Got to say I ordered a full kit of t8ups and they were fantastic, could fault the bloke and would highly recommend him.
 
Gents, fitted all the bulb in the misses A3 except the front door puddle lights which I cannot get the connector far enough out of the aperture to plug the light in. Now I have to free the bottom of the door card to rescue the connector and plug in to the light. Is it just a case of removing the torx bolt at the bottom of the door card? Any assistance is greatly appreciated. Cheers.

Tryedto get in touch with em tuning for some led lights. Is the company still in business. t8ups tried to pm but presuming its coz it don't have any post part from this one.
 
Yes Trups is away on holiday for the week, so contact him next week. The company is still in business... i just got some bulbs from him yesterday.
 
Received my LEds today just fitted them, they are really good quality just need it to get dark now but they look really.

Received mine a few weeks back,what an easy mod that makes a massive difference!Trups even helped me when he was away on holiday! top lad cheers Trups
 
I bought these too of Trups,all the interior took me about 20 mins! But the boot and glove box were a right *****! I thought the bulb connector didnt fit in my holder very well soo it was a struggle to get them to stay in and get to touch and make a connection....gotta but a new boot bulb holder as from bending te metal connetors to try making a connection they snapped!:( Still gotta do the puddle lights too but I think this is going to be so hard and I won't be able to do it. Don't wanna break them!!:(
 
You can take the black and red wire out of the white plastic bulb like thing and just push the red into the right side and the black into the left side so it touches the metal contact, wedge it into the side do it doesn't move and you won't need to get a new bulb holder

Pm me if you want send me all the units and LED's il get them soldered in for you so they never pop out, all you have to do plug them back in.

I have a 57 palte a3 8p sport,

what are the sizes of the lamps on the interior domes front and rear, and also the glove box lamp?

Depends what kit you are after, there are a few differant types of kits.

prices are:
£24 for non light pack without sunvisors
£29 for non light pack with sunvisors
£49 for 3dr cars with light pack
£59 for 5dr cars with light pack

prices include postage.

if you dont know what spec you have inside then PM me and il go through it with you.

I also found it quite hard to fit the panel LEds so that they actually work after you slam the door etc. Have you guys used something extra to keep the white plastic bulps in place or am I just doing it wrong? I'd appreciate some simple instruction as I still have the puddle lights to do and I wouldn't wanna open the door panels more than once. thanks
 
You dont need to take the door panels off. just the lamps.

after fitting the bulbs into the lamp push the pins in and together then push the holder in and that will be in there solid. if you still have problems then pm me and again if you post them to me i can fit them in securly so you only have to plug and play.

My car is currently in the garage due to a front end accident - so its face-lift time! It's a split grill 53 plate 3DR 2.0 tdi sport 140 going to a 04-08 Sline - if anyone has parts pm me...

I'm pretty sure I don't have lit sun visors..

But do have red lights on doors, domes in the back and one in my boot.... Would want the rear plate light too.
 
Just got my Interior kit from t8ups this morning and fit them in a workshop while the guy was tinting my windows, better in there than out on the cold driveway, 2 birds... liking today's two new mods!! All fitted with only a couple of hiccups but all in now and loving them, looking forward to it getting a bit darker to see them.
Thanks again to t8ups for great service and decent kit, with a good deal too, chucked in LED sideys for not much :) Highly recommended and a great guy to deal with :)
 
Bought mine from ebay measured the standard bulbs and found error free bulbs on ebay the same size for globe box dome rear and front led lights and boot light cost about nine pound yes £9.00 lol and they are still working been about 1 year since i did the mod

haha got similar ones off ebay, they literally blind the passengers when you open the doors at night :$
 
They look quite nice tbh nice easy and very cheap upgrade and look way better than the crappy yellow lights

Can you dim the leds down like you can the standard light pack via vag com?
 
I've just bought a full set on eBay. They prone to errors the ones from china I assume?
 
Has anybody found LED bulbs for interior lights, with can dimm, in order to have the "fade out" and "fade in" function (witch was working with the classic bulbs) ?
 
New owner here so forgive the resurrection.

These look much better by comparison and something which is very much on my list, pm incoming to t8ups!
