vcds help cheshire/manchester

looking to see if anyone can help with vcds in said above area.
just want to check if my RNSe is sorted with the Bose, as the audio pilot seems to fluctuating the sound quiet alot (driving me mad!) to a point where i think the RNSe is really worth?! also to check the light levelling.

blob.. you still can't sort audiopilot with vcds!! You can only use it to sort out GALA in a non-BOSE system... for the BOSE it can only be done by re-wiring the BOSE amp in the boot! This stops it using the BOSE ambient noise mic in the front to constantly adjust the volume. If you cut the mic out from the front or any other way it gives you the "three-gong" warning on the nav unit every time you turn it on.

your audi dealership can do it for you if you don't want to attempt it yourself!

Sorry to hijack the thread but has anyone required the wiring for the stock amp in the boot of a sportback to a Bose unit? If so can you pm me just wanted a little help as I'm attempting this soon

Audi should really take the time to look it up when you ask them! it's foooking annoying lol
and NHN is the man to ask if he's not flat-out in demand as usual! It's a bit of both wiring and coding - after bose amp is rewired, Rns-e needs to be coded to enable gala, which you can then turn off on the nav unit itself in sound settings menu! bit of a faff, but once its done, it's done!

and the new one is build week 38.. gonna be sad to see my 3 door go in some ways though....
