A3/S3 Photos Thread

Just thought I would stick the most recent pics up with the new 19" BBS CK's fitted. Lowering springs will be on the agenda next week.

The plates confused, are they not luke1987 from the stance thread?

Luke posted N8's car in the stance thread because the man wouldn't do it himself (you'll see he says he got the specs straight from N8 for accuracy). Luke's plate is/was H9 LAO, and his car is/was a silver 3-dr.

Some other shots I had......

N8 your car looks so out of place when it's not at a show, or a workshop. It just makes everything around it look old and ordinary.

What grill is that? Closest i could find: FK ABS SPORT FRONT HOOD GRILL GRILLE AUDI A3 TYP 8P 05-08 BLACK-33001-2 | eBay But the Audi rings are black.

Im looking to get a cupra splitter aswell but the cheapest ebay has is around £50 delivered. How much do Seat do them for directly?

There is no front badge supplied with the grill. The black you see is the badge holder, the rings from your stock grill clip in to it.

Cupra splitter prices have gone through the roof, mine was £41 from Seat

Latest mods BE alloys and debadged rear :-

Mine is the same shade of blue! I'm still amazed at how much the colour changes with varying light conditions. On very sunny days it's virtually neon, and on duller days it looks almost flat. :)

You're absolutely spot on there Artimus good reason to keep it clean!, I know it's an old colour but it's still one of my favourites.

All of your cars look superb!

Picked mine up over the weekend, completely standard besides it being debadged and the previous owner put the Parrot bluetooth in (reletively old one I believe).

(me mam's A4 sneaking into the shot)

I'll look at getting the S-Line front conversion done first and then decide on whether I want to get an RNS-e or just something to connect my phone to the standard HU. Maybe upgrade my current Parrot BT, if the swap over would be relatively straight forward and like for like.

Like it or not... here is a bit of two toneness just to shake things up a bit.

Front looks nice, back doesn't do it for me. Bonus points for giving it a go though. Like it or not it's good to see people try new things.

The front is mean!
again the back looks lost... Almost like you had to replace the tailgate and you did it with the wrong colour
kudos nonetheless

why do so many neglect their tailpipes? black, chrome, single or twin, they'll always look better when they're clean - No?

I have got this baby for few months now but this is my first time uploading pictures of it.

Amen to that. I spent about 2 hours cleaning and polishing my exhaust before the local meet at the end of May, and they were still dirty. Not just "not 100% clean and shiny", but still had deposits on them, and a brownish tinge to the lower lip... need to get them done professionally and then just a case of maintaining the shine, rather than battling with 4 years' build up of dirt and soot and whatever else is coming out the back of my car.

It was two weeks after I bought mine before I realised just how dirty they were ...I thought they were supposed to be Black, but they looked Grey, so I went at them with metal polish & was pleasantly surprised when they turned Chrome! They now get polished every time the car does. Since I've removed the engine designation & replaced it with an S Line badge, those in the know will realised it's not an Oil Burner...

not saying there's anything wrong with Diesels, but ...:gun2:
