Got my new fuel pump on and ahhhhhh quiet as f**k it felt like a swarm of wasps were chasing me wherever i went....

ohh and for scott lifting cars with fork trucks, i thought i would share these...my pit was rammed so i used the old pikey method..

Now chiiling with Tuborgs and my trusty russian standard...

Unfortunately not Karl, I don't mind a bit of fun as much as the next man, but it's been agreed by everyone at the top that no dolls on the ASN stand, of you will be asked to move!

Its not really ASN representation that's really the issue, I think its the bosses lack of care about what the users and generally the people that makes this care about or do.
a massive banner, tent and external stickers won't change the feelings on how this forum is run at times and the stupid rules with no explination.

Makes me laugh that admin can't even be bothered to attend a ****** show or even comment on members gripes regarding improvement of the alleged stand yet will happily put a big fkn dampener on a little fun... *** man get a life. That doll did more for ASN at inters than anything else. Brought many a smile to people's faces from most clubs and was in no way offensive. If it had a big fk off Wang hanging out and a rusty ring piece on show then fair game. But Jesus !!!!!!!!!!

OK and I think we all do.
I think our stands seem to be the most fun, entertaining and friendly stands at these shows (CoV is also great).

Seriously now, I can see the argument from both side, and ASN's representation at events needs to be more controlled co-ordinated in the future, to make us more stand out than ordinary! There are plans that are going to be implemented in the form of an events team for future events so that we will no longer have the poor representation we had at GTI Inters. By that, I mean our stand will look like an ASN stand, not just a group of Audi's parked randomly. This does not take away the effort that members took for arranging and attending the event last weekend for which I applaud, but it's been promised that future events will be taken more seriously by the Admin.

I hope that is more clear for everyone.

Jo i do get where the head shed are coming from and please don't think I was being flippant. I just think its a bit of a kill joy as the dolls we have chosen to represent the unattended have never been ( lets say distasteful) But that said it ain't my forum. And I can see that they want the best publicity whilst in the public eye. Hopefully the bit of fun hasn't put the pub members it the crosshairs and all will continue to progress at future shows. Whith a little more effort from the top.

I did a massive speech about this, how's the administrator is just in this for water cooler talk with other database admins and got no real love for Audi's like the members on this forum and I'll believe the changes when they happen, like the ASN lanyards.

we are the users, we attend shows, we make this forum what it is, we make this forum the size it is, we make the shows, he does no.
he sits there and barks orders his subordinates. is he put in half the effort in to the users, shows and none database stuff of this forum my self and others might have more respect for him.
my respect ends at the software time he puts in.
my respect for the mods who put in their time, stands the abuse, negatives and all the work they is on going and will all ways have a pint from me (they to have tough).
Until the admins do than funky code, they get a bottle of 12p water from lidls, opened and used.

Got to say I agree with this. As much as I like ASN, the stand was horrific at inters, and a blow up doll (not even a rude doll ***!) being banned seems a bit steep?!

'm sure that we won't be seen as any great loss if you were to just look at the forum numbers, as we are just 6 or 7 people out of 50k + members, even if probably less then 1/4 of those have logged on in the last 12 months. If you look at it from a stand perspective at shows though, we represent quite a decent %age, and an even higher percentage of the fun that happens! The amount of people waving at Karl as he and chez said goodbye was ridiculous, and nobody looked offended. If the chap from Audi driver magazine is willing to take a pic of a blow up doll, I can't see what the issue is personally. I suppose it comes down to whether or not you have a sense of humour though. Jo obviously does, as he is pictured with chez and also had a good look as Westy took a beating from Damo..
