B5s at AITP

Another show is looming (In a positive, OOOOO can't wait sort of looming) round the corner.

We had a good show of B5s at Inters, there was 7, I think.
Me, Aragorn, Oldskool and his 2, Byzan's Estate, Der-Tech and Grant in his S4.

If you not been before I would recommend.
£5 per car, it don't matter how many people you got in your car cause you are only paying for the car.
Its the only Audi show in the UK, good for adults and kids.
So bring the family, give the wife and kids some money, point them in the direction of the rides and enjoy the cars.

Who's going?

Might as well see if we can get a little B5 swap shop going on as well.
Any one got any thing B5 for sale or needed?
Good time to do it, no fannying around with postage.

Its a sunday only show but some people will camp on the saturday.
Me being one of them.

Double the fuel if i bring both though, its ~350miles so we're talking about 65quids worth of petrol to drive down there and back, an additional £65 is probably a bit much?

260 miles one way.
Bit of a trek but its worth it I think.

I did Inters and back on about half to quarter of a tank I think.
So not to bad.

520miles at 50mpg is about 47 Litres of fuel
360miles at 32mpg is about 51 Litres of fuel

Cost per litre is roughly the same for super unleaded vs derv too, so it cant be that much cheaper for you!

Not cheap at all.
Most show weekends are allot of money for me but mainly cause of the travel.

Its not like there will ever be a show that ASN will go down town my way and there is only ever 3 a year. so its not that bad really.

Still not got that bumper painted, poor show lol I even managed to get my rear bumper fixed and get a new rear spoiler fitted.

652miles round trip for me, @ 22-23mpg or less if we are playing will be travelling up on the saturday early hopefully get there around lunch time ish set up camp and then chill with a few beers and say hi to lots of people i chat to online but have never met

sounds like a plan Scott, if we leave about 5.00am we should be at Junction 21 about 7-7.30 i would have thought. want to beat the traffic south of Birmingham as that can swallow time
