i've got forge short shift and love it!!

I had a Forge quickshift on my 8L S3, made such a huge difference! I think the A3 needs one now, the throw seems a bit long for me!

Isn't it a lot cheaper to just use the OEM TT shifter?

i have both front back, and side to side. front back is set to shortest throw and side is set 30% shorter as i had some issues with gear change after setting it to shortest. it's really great mod. and with lower engine mount insert it a perfect combo..

The TT one fits with NO issues
TT part number 8J0 711 046 E
Compbrake used to make the cheapest ones at £60 inc Vat but after just checking their website it appears they no longer stock vag ones
forge ones come in at around £85ish
what a difference these make and around 30-45mins MAX fitting time

I just installed my Forge short shift kit and its really easy... the video basically explains what you need to do but it took me about 30 mins to do it and then i just played with the adjuster to get the right amount of throw.

feels really nice and easy to change gears now without the feeling of pulling the gear stick around too much
