I dont seem to be getting much joy out of my brand new car. In addition to wind noise, now I am having to anoyying rattles from the center/dashboard area. The first one I managed to sort out, it turned out to be the seat belt latch rubbing against the seat - easy fixed with some tape. The second one is doing my heading, it seems to be coming from the ash tray compartment. I tried to apply pressure on it and around the area but with no joy. Anyone else experiencing the same problem? Any advice?

I used to get a rattle from the ash tray area when it was cold so I got it out and put WD40 on the hinges, I also put some Blu tac where some of the plastic touched to absorb some of the vibrations and it worked :)

Many thanks. will give that ago! not so impressed with Audi recently, my other car which is a 10 year BMW doesn't have a single rattle/squeak.

No car is immune unfortunately! My BMW E92 had a nasty dash rattle, good luck :)

My BE has been into Audi about this very matter... Its the front dash speaker grill.

It happens when I accelerate the car. Audi replaced the grill under warranty it worked for about a day and the rattle is back. Im starting to think its the part of the dash that holds the grill so it will be going back to get that replaced.

Also noticed my rear BOSE speaker grills are starting to rattle too.

Quality of Audi is truly going down hill...

I have a tinny rattle that seems to be coming from the BOSE grille on my front drivers door too, only does it at certain speeds, which is very annoying.
