I think its more that a lot of people are running different wheels to what was on the car originally.
The sticker only usually shows the size on the car originally and one or 2 other random sizes.

Edit: Oh mine are 225/40 R18 on an 8P2 Sportback 2.0TDI with DSG....dunno if the gearbox makes a difference.
I actually run mine at 36 & 36.

I know that really :)

Lets hear them all, from 17" Winter wheels through to 20" show wheels.

thanks for the photo :)

Here's my 09 1.8T Sports Back although currently running 36/33 :-

Here is my 2004 3.2 v6

Exactly the same sticker as mine, 2005 3.2 Sportback (sport suspension), with DSG. Inside the petrol cap.

(Edit) The pressures for the high load factor (XL) M&S tyres are much higher than for the normal load factor tyres (non-M&S) of the same size. It seems that the load factor is a significant issue in tyre pressure settings, but I've no idea how M&S tyres would also affect pressure settings. My 3.2 tyres came from new with a load factor of 91 and I've always replaced them with the exactly same specification.

garethrees, thanks for taking the time to post that.

I'll tell you what, that's some difference between the different loads/pressures on the rear axles. :whistle2:

Our A4 [from above] is running at 36 all round, compromise, certainly, but the handling and reaction to steering inputs [once away from straight ahead :racer:] are surprisingly sharp and the vehicle is extremely sure footed as long as you avoid a trailing throttle......

cheers

Mo.
