Well my wife had mine with the 3 kids in it today so I now have an interior cleaning job to do. Just an excuse to OCD-ify it a bit more really. Also going to give the engine bay a good detail before next weekend. And another coat of wax of course (properly detailed the exterior 2 weeks ago so just needs a top-up). How many days to go...?!

Tell me about it jo iv been trying to wash the car all day and I've just checked the forecast for the weekend not good :sob:
 
I've got Friday booked off to wash, clay, and polish my car rain or shine. Luckily I have a double garage so I can clay it and polish it under cover. Car hasn't been washed for over 3 months.
 
Long way to go until next weekend lads, come on, chin up! Might be a heat wave by then...

Well I have been out all afternoon just got in now, I've snow foamed, washed clay'd polished and waxed my car I'm chuffin tired now, just the interior left as I can give her a quick wash after work on Thursday. Got some Gliptone for the leather bits and plastics then some foaming cleaner for the Alcantara, so vac out this week and glass polish and I'm done.

Well saying that I went back out and sealed the alloys as I'v ran out of mr sheen for the tyres lol.

I've cleaned the inside and thats it.
Not touched the outside.
Not sure I can be assed or have the time.
Plus the 5 hour trip up is going to make it look a bit poo.

I might have to try and somehow get it clean.
 
I will see you at inters with a bucket and sponge them... Lol
 
im going to be there my mate sed hes got me a show pass today but ill be over with the seat cupra lads, so if i can sly onto your section ill try lol :)
 
Scott, do you know if there is a water supply in the camp site / near the club stand? If it's raining on the way there I'm going to HAVE to wash the car when I arrive. It'll drive me nuts otherwise. If there's no tap I'm going to have to turn up with a shed load of Evian.

Hmm, that's not what my wife said after I sneakily extended my car washing activities on Saturday afternoon with a full wax, glass clean & tyre shine! I'm sure she mentioned something about "3 hours cleaning that mucky car" or something like that. Not sure exactly, my ears closed after a while...

As usual Paul, I'm surprised your car has paint left! lol There's always a tap @GTI Inters, you need to walk toward the toilet to get water. Best to have a watering can of somesort to be honest.

What time do we need to be there sunday to get on the stand?
I have a stand pass for the sunday but no tickets as such. can i buy them from the entrance that takes you to the stands or do i need to go via the main entrance?

Anytime mate, but ideally, before 9am to get a good space. Instead of going right, go left towards the clubstand with your pass dangling on your rearview mirror. Then buy the ticket at the hut should be fine. Can turn up @12, shouldn't be a problem.
 
if i have another clubs show pass, could i park with your guys if possible, i might look a bit out of place parked with loads of seat cupras lol :)
 
Ive got 2No gti international camping weekend tickets for sale, as sadly we can no longer make it. The tickets are for two nights camping and entry to the show on both saturday and sunday. Will sell seperately. £50 each including recorded delivery. (these will cost u £73 each if you pay on the gate)
 
Hay guys I'd like to meet up with some of you on the sunday, as it will be my first time, Im just 45 minz away coming from Nottz. Any volunteers ?

Is it possible to pay on the gate for this?
I have 2 tickets and a stand pass but may bring a 3rd person, can the 3rd person just turn up with me and pay on the day?

Alternatively if anyone local (North East) has a spare ticket .....?

Where abouts are you coming from? I'm in Bingham, but travelling on Sat morning as will be camping Sat night.
