Hi guys
Have had the S4 now for just over a year and am contemplating selling it, its a fantastic car and does all I want it to do, but getting itchy feet and fancy a change. Have always sold my cars privately (really dont have the patience for car salesman offering you £100 and a bag of sweets in exchange for your pride and joy), as much as I know I will never get anywhere near my money back (£21k), nor do I expect to, question is whats it worth?? Am the 2nd owner, 43k miles, all the toys as in my signature, immaculate condition. Thoughts??

I know if i didnt have a need for my avant i would be looking to buy it off you mate but dog and 2 kids means i need the avant at the moment if it was another 12-18 months down the line thibgs would be different !! I would say 15-16k ish hope that doesnt offend really is a fine example with well chosen mods.

A car is worth whatever a person is willing to pay for it.
Did you buy it privately at £21k, if so I would be tempted to start at £17k to £18k and see what happens. You can always come down on your price, but not go up.
Nice car buy the way.
Brad.

Now Im no car salesman but im willing to put in an offer my friend

OK so here's my offer, Im only gunna make one offer, if you turn this offer down there will be no more offers made :beee:

OK Abb, here's my offer.............

£120 and a family size bag of Haribo's!

Do we have a deal? :friends:

Marrow - Not offended at all, thanks for the comments. Brad - I agree with you regarding its worth being what someones prepared to pay, I bought it from a Audi specialist down south, as it was the best I could find, having looked for a while.
Jon - as tempting as your offer is :asskicking:

Well Abb, I won't lie, I genuinely thought you would except my most generous offer but, hey your loss

All joking aside mate I know how good your car is having detailed it with you so I can honestly say you wont find a better example with all the toys you have had installed. I dare say it will sell very quickly if posted in the right place. Good luck with the sale anyway.

So come on then, whats tempted you away from such a amazing car? Im guessing your still fond of the Range Rover Sport?

State of play - its a 2007 model.
Jon - Yep you are right the RRS is calling me and it maybe an itch that I have to scratch. Was going to keep the S4, but not sure I can justify the expenditure on the two vehicles. If I dont get what I want for it, then it wont be going, not for a while anyway.

You know what Abb, I have to say I think your mad letting such a great car go however, I am a major fan of range rover sports and the summer so far has been a major let down so its not even like you'll be getting full use of the convertable so I say go for it mate. Im sure you'll get a good price for it.
